A high-quality nomination packet should provide the selection team with a complete, well-written and well-organized summary of the nominee’s work and detail, how the work matches the selection criteria and the specific reasons why this work deserves the selected award. Please allow an adequate amount of time to complete the nomination.
It is highly recommended that nominators review the tips for writing a strong nomination before proceeding.
The following items must be included in the nomination packet. Only complete packets received by the deadline will move forward for committee review (it is the responsibility of the nominator to ensure that all materials are received by the office). Provides a thorough description of the nominee’s work and an explanation of how the work exemplifies excellent performance relative to DEI per the points below.
Cite specific evidence, explaining how the nominee’s DEI work has contributed to change and/or affected the university and its communities either locally, nationally or globally.
