Five Student Organizations That Show Latinx Pride

October 7, 2022 - Jesús Hernandez

At Michigan State University, Latine/Hispanic students have been working tirelessly to connect with one another to uplift voices of marginalized communities. The month of National Hispanic Heritage Month is recognized by residents of the United States every year from Sept. 15th to Oct. 15th by celebrating cultures and traditions from across Latin America, the Caribbean and Spain. MSU is home to over one thousand registered student organizations (RSO’s), ranging from networking and career development to enjoying hobbies together. Get to know Latine specific RSO’s who are making an impact both at MSU and their communities.

Note: “Latine” or “Latinx” is a gender-inclusive description of people of Latin American descent who live in the United States.
