Michigan State University Dialogues opens cohorts for spring semester for undergraduates and faculty, staff and employees. MSU Dialogues seeks to create community change on campus and beyond by building powerful relationships across identity differences. Participants meet with cohorts of their peers for six consecutive weeks to learn about the identities of ourselves and others, build leadership skills personally and professionally, connect with others through dialogue and learn to create positive change in our community and beyond.

This spring the Office for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion is inaugurating “Conversations on Antisemitism and Islamophobia.” Adapted from previous MSU Dialogues on religion and ethnicity, this effort will be offered in four 2-hour sessions. During this time, faculty experts will discuss the history and current manifestations of these prejudices which occur globally, nationally and on college campuses. In addition to discussions of MSU incidents, participants will have many opportunities to share their observations and ideas, while learning to contribute to the inclusivity of our campus community.
If you’d would like to be among the first to receive the registration information for "Conversations on Antisemitism and Islamophobia" or "The Anti-Racist Path," please fill out this form:

In November, IDI’s education team introduced Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Achievements Across MSU. The purpose of this initiative is to celebrate MSU's DEI efforts by showcasing plans, announcements and accomplishments on the IDI website. This effort supports the education team’s goal of creating a space to share the exciting and impactful DEI work that is carried out across MSU. Submissions are accepted by the last working day of each month. If you’d like to submit an achievement, contact Dr. Vanessa Holmes at holmesv1@msu.edu.
IDI's educational opportunities allow the MSU community to explore the complex issues around diversity, equity and inclusion through dialogue and sharing experiences. Click the below button to learn about DEI workshop offerings and to submit requests.
