A Zoom option is available. Registration is required HERE.
The MSU History Department is hosting a presentation and discussion from Jay Dolmage on transforming higher education to be more inclusive for disabled students. We'll explore how universities often treat disability through a medical lens, focusing on problems rather than embracing disability as a positive identity and culture. This session will consider how we can redesign education to anticipate the needs of disabled students without requiring constant accommodations, creating a truly accessible environment where all can thrive.
