Luz Vazquez joins as DEI Communications Intern

University Communications and the Office for Institutional Diversity and Inclusion welcome Luz Vazquez as a diversity, equity and inclusion communications intern. She joins a team of interns, bringing an interest in research and elevating awareness about migrant farmworkers and various topics.

Hello! My name is Luz, and I am a second-year pursing a degree in political science with a track in public policy and a minor in leadership of organizations. I am currently secretary of Latino Leaders in Policy and after having the opportunity to share my story on many online platforms I have grown to have a passion in helping others share their own story. In my spare time, I enjoy binge watching shows, going on hikes and I love listening to music!
